Responsibilities:
Working on the TelePresence infrastructure products, this Software Engineer would lead and engage with a variety of cross product engineers working on creating applications for TelePresence users. This includes customizing Linux image, using and building RPM packages, integrating security patches and drivers for system and application software into a customized Linux distribution, configuring and installing JBoss, Tomcat in a large and complex environment. This engineer would collaborate with colleagues to drive a strong architecture and design, and then implement required code.

Work with the following:
-Different BU's to leverage functions from their products.
-Other Software Engineers on the team to insure that the proper architecture and design are implemented.
-Dev Test to ensure that the essential quality is preserved and that the most critical bug areas are addressed.
-CA/TAC and engineering to help support the product and provide the proper training for the TAC team.
-Assist the Escalation team to debug and answer questions when customers report issues.

Requirements:
- Technical Software Engineer, 8 years or more experience total in software development.
- Java development experience in a Linux based product with a focus on developing management applications
- Experience with Java application development on JBoss, WebServices
- Linux file system and configuration experience, Linux rpm packaging
- Shell scripting, scripting in Linux environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to articulate thoughts clearly and succinctly a definite plus.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field required. Masters degree in related field desirable.

The following is desired:
- Experience working with source and build control systems such as Subversion and Clearcase

Drive the test/DQE strategy and execution of the business unit’s line of products. This role will work across Cisco’s internal groups and with external contract manufacturers and test organizations to ensure that the quality goals of the products are met.

Responsibilities;
- Create a device test strategy for the business unit’s line of products
- Define test plans, test use cases and clear pass/fail criteria
- Perform Testing, fault diagnostics and verification, using
diagnostic software and scripts in thermal chambers.
- Write and execute test plans for board and system level
regression testing, fault diagnosis and analysis.
- Execute test plans for video image quality, using
existing methodology. Log and archive the results.
- Interactively review and improve test plans with the

Requirements;

TelePresence Exchange Business Unit (TXBU) is currently looking for an experienced Software Release Engineer that will have the opportunity to work on a high profile, brand new TXBU TelePresence exchange service to enable business to business TelePresence calls.

This position is open to a candidate with strong "build and delivery" experience using modern tools and technologies. Our shop is Agile, and is outfitted for Continuous Integration. Most of the code is Java and the target operating systems for our product is Linux, but our tools span a number of systems.

Job Responsibilities:
Set up, maintenance and improvement of our development and test systems, honing and improving our metrics and project status tracking, interfacing between a variety of systems including Rally, CDETS, Hudson, Nexus, and Maven.

Requirements:
3-5 years of experience configuring and maintaining a highly available build environment. Administration in Linux and Windows, strong working knowledge of Maven 2 (and related technologies). Proficiency in Perl, Python, Ruby, BASH/SH and Windows BATCH scripts or similar scripting languages is a must.

In addition to managing and improving build systems, a suitable candidate will also have a strong process oriented approach to creating and distributing reproducible software products.

Strong familiarity with CDETS and Subversion are a plus. A really strong candidate will also have a working knowledge of Maven POM files and be able to troubleshoot problems with a Mavenized build system.
