CISCO - R875579 - Sr. Product Manager - Callway - San Jose, CA

As a Product Manager for the TelePresence Exchange Business Unit (TXBU), you will drive the product roadmap, business strategy and execution for a critical, high-growth enabling video business. The long-term goals of the TXBU are to drive pervasive adoption of TelePresence technology by delivering hosted video solutions. In this position you will closely collaborate with other product managers as well as other cross functional teams (TTG, CTBU among others), marketing, field and solutions teams on developing overall TelePresence product strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities:
• Define overall positioning and pricing for the Callway offering
• Perform basic market and customer segmentation
• Understand and lead the analysis of the competitive
• Based on feedback from the market, drive product requirements definition, planning design of new product features and enhancements
• Drive product localization for specific geographies
• Serve as Product Owner in Agile process
• Support engineering and guide product lifecycle
• Manage feedback loop from all other parts of organization (sales, operations, engineering)
• Clearly communicate product benefits to external users and internal stakeholders
• Ultimately responsible for rapid adoption of new products, increased revenue for existing products, and increased sales of complementary Cisco products

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:
• BA/BS (business, marketing, or engineering preferred), MBA or equivalent a plus
• 10 - 15 years experience in leading efforts in a related field such as product marketing, sales, engineering, or manufacturing
• Prior experience in telecommunications and or/ product management roles is also a significant plus
• Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of urgency. Must be resourceful, proactive and aggressive.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity.
• Team player that works well in collaborative situations and start-up environments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions and departments
