Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Software Engineer who is excited to see where the core development happens for IOS. Whatever is in RFC will be tested here in this group. All the enhancements are done within this initial phase. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the technology forefront.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to do VPN testing. Need candidates that have worked on multiple platforms as this group will work with IOS based images on any router. Must have layer 2 and 3 experience. Cisco products IOS. Scripting knowledge in TCL and Perl. Automation testing. Experience working with ASIC platforms (PIX or Firewall). Must have knowledge of encryption, VPN space, networking protocols, crypto, PKI.
Desired: Security IP experience is a plus.
Education: Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 5-7 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 7-10+ yrs related experience.
Open to candidates that have 2-5 years with solid work experience.
